Shipping Policy

Agri-Can Supply provides farm equipment shipping across Western Canada, including Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. We work with freight carriers, courier services, and dealer pickup arrangements to help move agricultural equipment, machinery, and parts efficiently.

Our shipping policy explains eligible free shipping promotions, freight charges, delivery requirements, damage claims, and pickup options for Agri-Can Supply orders.

Farm Equipment Shipping in Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba

Agri-Can Supply ships agricultural equipment and machinery throughout Canada, with a primary focus on Western Canada. This includes shipping to dealerships and commercial locations in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

Shipping options may vary depending on the product, destination, carrier availability, order size, and accessibility of the delivery location.

Free Shipping on Qualifying Machine Orders Over $3,750

Agri-Can Supply currently offers free shipping on qualifying machine orders over $3,750 to eligible delivery locations in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

This free shipping promotion applies to machines only. It does not apply to parts, replacement parts, accessories, service items, or other non-machine orders.

To qualify for free shipping, the order must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The order total must be over $3,750 before applicable taxes

  • The order must include qualifying agricultural machines or farm equipment

  • The delivery location must be in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba

  • The delivery location must be accessible by standard freight carrier service

  • The order must not require special handling, remote delivery, ferry service, seasonal access, or extraordinary freight arrangements

Agri-Can Supply reserves the right to determine whether a destination qualifies for free shipping. Remote, rural, limited-access, hard-to-reach, or unusually expensive delivery areas may be excluded from the free shipping promotion or may require an additional freight charge.

Shipping for Machine Orders Under $3,750

For qualifying machine orders under $3,750, shipping may be charged at up to $195, depending on the order size, weight, destination, carrier availability, and shipping requirements.

This rate applies only to eligible machine orders and does not apply to parts orders, remote destinations, hard-to-reach areas, or shipments requiring special freight arrangements.

Parts Shipping

Parts, replacement parts, accessories, and service items do not qualify for the free shipping promotion.

Parts shipping costs are quoted separately and may vary depending on the size, weight, urgency, carrier, and destination of the shipment. Small parts may ship by courier, while larger or heavier parts may require freight.

Freight Quotes

For orders that do not qualify for free shipping, freight charges will be quoted based on the product size, weight, destination, shipping method, and carrier availability.

Shipping is not included unless specifically stated on the quote, order confirmation, or invoice.

Dealer Pickup from Edmonton

Dealer pickup may be available from our Edmonton warehouse by appointment.

Orders must be confirmed and scheduled before pickup. Customers and dealers are responsible for arranging suitable vehicles, trailers, tie-downs, and loading requirements unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines are estimates only. Agri-Can Supply will make reasonable efforts to provide accurate shipping timelines, but delivery dates are not guaranteed.

Delivery may be affected by product availability, carrier schedules, weather, seasonal demand, road conditions, customs, border delays, supply chain issues, or other circumstances outside of our control.

Unloading Requirements

The receiving dealer or customer is responsible for unloading equipment from the delivery truck unless otherwise arranged in writing.

A forklift, loader, tractor, or other suitable unloading equipment may be required. Additional carrier charges caused by failed delivery, lack of unloading equipment, missed appointments, redelivery, storage, or incorrect delivery information may be billed to the customer.

Inspecting Farm Equipment Shipments

All shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery. Before signing the carrier’s bill of lading, please inspect the equipment, packaging, crates, pallets, and any loose components.

If there is visible damage, the damage must be clearly noted on the bill of lading before signing. Photos should be taken immediately, including photos of the packaging, equipment, serial numbers, and damaged areas.

Freight Damage Claims

Shipping damage must be reported to Agri-Can Supply as soon as possible after delivery.

Claims reported after a shipment has been signed for without damage noted may be difficult or impossible to recover from the carrier. Agri-Can Supply will assist where possible, but freight damage is subject to carrier claim rules, timelines, and documentation requirements.

Missing Items or Shortages

Any missing items, shortages, or order discrepancies must be reported promptly after delivery.

Please include a copy of the invoice or packing slip, along with photos where applicable.

Backorders and Partial Shipments

Some farm equipment, machinery, or parts orders may ship in multiple shipments depending on availability.

Backordered items will ship once available unless otherwise arranged.

Force Majeure

Agri-Can Supply is not responsible for delays, additional costs, or failure to deliver caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

This may include, but is not limited to, severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, road closures, labour disruptions, carrier delays, equipment shortages, supply chain disruptions, border delays, government actions, acts of war, civil unrest, pandemics, or other events outside of Agri-Can Supply’s control.

In these situations, delivery timelines may be extended, alternative shipping arrangements may be required, or additional freight charges may apply.

Address Accuracy and Site Access

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery addresses, contact names, phone numbers, unloading instructions, and site access information.

Additional charges caused by incorrect information, missed delivery appointments, redelivery, storage, limited access, or special handling may be billed to the customer.
